The Premier Show |
| The Premier Show presented by the
first batch of graduating students of the B. D. Somani Institute of
Art & Fashion Technology was an event of great magnitude with
the Industries top personalities coming together to make this event
a memorable one. |
| The show was choreographed by
Sangeeta Chopra,event organisation by Nimesh Mirchandaney of
Communique, set design by Indian National Theatre and adding the
pulsating rhythm to the show was sound, music and light by Pulsar
India. Presenting in words the concept of the show was the master of
ceremonies Brian Tellis. |

personalities from the Fashion Industry. |

| Silhouettes '99 |
| The 2nd Annual Fashion Show was an extravaganza by itself. The creative styles, silhouettes and designs moved around the theme ‘Hues in Harmony’ which was indeed a visual treat. |
| The event of befitting magnitude was choreographed by Elric D'souza, event organisation and set design by Communique'. Adding to the pulse of the evening was the sound, music and light by Pulsar India and the show was presented by the Master of ceremonies Hugo D'souza. |

| Working towards the ideas and designs of the new century, Silhouettes 2000 was a reflection of the bygone era. The theme presented the designs of the future inspired from the past, looking one step behind to move two steps ahead to making a fashion statement. |

| Threads in heritage - was as much a celebration of the textile aesthetics of royal India and the splendor of bygone times as it was a testimony to the survival of the world’s richest repertoire of hand crafted textiles in the modern world which is both rooted in the past and moving progressively in the new millennium. |
| Inspired by the beauty, the brilliance, the colour range, the beautiful brocades, rich embroideries, turbans elegantly worked on cloth of gold - the couture collections reflected a perfect blend of Heritage, Innovation and Style. ‘Enriching Tradition’ - the graduating students presented ‘Threads in Heritage’. |

| Silhouettes 2009 “Art Couture” |
Inspired from the bizarre hues and gorgeous canvasses dipped in the euphoria called 'Art', “ Art Couture” as aptly named forms the theme of Silhouettes '09, the Annual Fashion Awards Nite presented by the Graduating Students of the B. D. Somani Institute of Art & Fashion Technology.
“Art Couture” unveils the magic of the brush, grooves of the palette and impressions of the artists, through the visual and creative senses of its versatile designers. As B. D. Somani walks you down a gallery called “Art Couture” get ready to applaud the haute-est theme of the generation at Silhouettes '09; “Art Couture”.
Silhouettes 2009 gives you an ideal opportunity to advertise your product and services. The publicity includes mass media, hoarding, banners, press ads, invitation cards, pamphlets and souvenir. Press and television units would also be invited to cover the show.
Judging by the adulation received by the graduates last year, this year we work at creating an event of even greater benefitting magnitude. Truly a visual fashion experience.
