The B. D. Somani Institute of Art & Fashion Technology is an Institute for professional education under the patronage of the G. D. Somani Memorial School.

Though young, the Institute is dynamic and progressive and has proved its mettle in the highly competitive world of professional education.

However, there still remains a vast gap, between the standards of competence we've attained, and the levels of excellence we've set for ourselves... A gap we hope to close, by drawing on the experience and expertise of an advisory board comprising of outstanding industry professionals, under whose guidance and direction, the Institute can grow in stature and relevance to the Industry needs and become a reservoir of trained manpower that the industry can readily draw on.

It is with and through their active participation, the expertise and guidance that will help us mould the emerging talent, into skilled, professional and competent budding designers & artists. The presence of these highly eminent personalities on the Board will enhance and refine the all - important link between the muse and the model i.e.- education and the Industry.
